Fostering community through flow arts by creating inclusive, family‑friendly spaces
where people of all ages can connect, play, and grow together

Flow arts (also known as spinning) is a unique, movement-based art form that combines expression through dance and movement with prop manipulation. Poi (weighted balls on strings), hula hoops, staff, fans and flow wand are some of the more common props used in flow arts. Engaging in flow arts brings people to a state of “flow”. Flow is defined as “the mental state in which a person performing some activity is fully immersed in a feeling of energized focus, full involvement, and enjoyment in the process of the activity.” This immersive experience strengthens the mind-body connection and invites each person to explore their own creative expression.
Spin jams are social gatherings for flow artists and anyone curious about flow arts. They offer an inclusive, welcoming space where people of all skill levels can explore prop based manipulation. These gatherings are the heart of the community—where we come together to share ideas, connect and become part of a community.
These events are open to everyone, of any age, from beginners to experienced flow artists.

Come join our vibrant community, and let’s create some spinning magic together!
